Very clean, great value for the money, will look for on next trip
It's so hot in Texas. I enjoyed a couple of hours in the pool. Also, friendly and helpful staff.
The location is right off of I-35, which is convenient, but I felt the area to be a bit worn down. I didn't feel completely unsafe, although I looked over my shoulder frequently.
The hotel charged my card for the hotel before I checked in, I understand their reasonings and the fact I would be paying either way but I would have been more comfortable if I was there. Also when I had questions about the charge and requested a receipt at check out it was very difficult and the staff was not cooperating. It took over 10 minutes just to get a receipt !
breakfast and very clean, did not feel scared to stay here.
it stated that it was near the downtown area. It not even close.
friendly staff, clean room, good neighborhood, basic breakfast.
the air conditioner is too noisy. Pillows too soft.
Only de price
In may case, the shower did not work and remote control tv did not work too.
On the website, it is written "motel closed to the university and the 6th street" but it is false! The hotel is very far from the city centre
room was clean but did have a weird smell. also, the 15% tax added onto the bill at checkout didn't make as good of a deal than I initially thought.
The room was very clean and the a/c was cold.
The "queen" sized bed was really a double - management said "we purchased them labeled queen so we advertise them as such." Whatever. The bed was also very old, saggy and could feel the springs. Bathroom sink area was very small.
Staff were friendly and helpfull & the breakfast was pretty decent.
There is nothing around the hotel (not their fault obviously) so you're going to have to drive/bus/taxi to get to places. I also got bitten by bed bugs!!
Good price, which included continental breakfast. Location is easily within reach of airport and downtown, at half the cost per night. Parking is adequate and well lit. Room was decent size in comparison to the budget price, although I wouldn't try to do much at the little table/2chairs -- you can't really pull out the chairs. Room, corridors, etc. very nicely clean.
The area set aside for breakfast is inadequate for the size of the hotel. This includes the number of tables; accessibility of food/drink area; size of the refuse container, etc. The tv set in the lobby lounge could be a larger screen given the viewing distance. The lobby lounge is of a fairly good size -- but does not have sufficient furniture to make it useful.
I liked nothing about this super 8! When we got off the elevator we smelled marijuana ! There was poop in our toilet when we walked in. Our commode overflowed twice, the beds were very uncomfortable. Staff were not responsive. We arrived at 12am and were so exhausted we went to bed! The lobby was full of flies and all around the breakfast food! Horrible!!!
The staff made this hotel, they were excellent. We stayed during sxsw and taxis were hard to get and expensive. On a few occasions the hotel manager took us downtown & even picked us up at 6am after my husband broke his elbow. The hotel is fine & the only downside is the location, its about 25 dollars each way in a taxi downtown.
Nice peopl working the front desk.
Price on the high side. Bed bugs present #105 reported to desk
